General questions
Why do we feel empty or a little low after a big event ends?
The short answer
It is completely normal. After months of anticipation and excitement building toward one night, the sudden return to routine leaves a gap. It is a sign there was something worth waiting for.
On the day of the event you are the center of attention, and the next day the world goes back to normal and the phone goes quiet. That gap, together with the release of all the energy that built up, is what feels like a drop.
What helps is not jumping straight back into routine, but letting yourself take in the night slowly, and returning to it through the photos and the people who were there.
