Event photo delivery on WhatsApp

A personal gallery link for every guest, right on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is where everyone already is. Instead of one crowded group where everyone gets lost, Matcha Photo delivers event photos as a personal link to each guest's own gallery, so they tap it and see their photos almost immediately.

No app. No passwords. Straight to their phone.

How it works

From a personal gallery to a WhatsApp link

  1. A personal gallery is built for every guest

Once the photos are uploaded, Matcha gathers the photos each guest appears in into a private gallery of their own.

  2. Every guest gets a personal link

Each personal gallery has its own private link, ready to send. Not one big link for everyone, but one for each person.

  3. The link arrives on WhatsApp

The guest gets their link on an app they already use, opens it in their phone's browser and sees their photos.

Why the WhatsApp group always breaks down

The instinctive fix after an event is to open one group and throw everything into it. That works for about half an hour. Then the group fills up with duplicates, compression ruins the quality, and someone writes that she couldn't find herself in a single photo.

One big link for everyone doesn't really solve it either, because it asks every guest to dig around and find themselves. A personal link for each person flips the direction: instead of the guest searching, their photos are waiting for them.

What you get

The app everyone already uses, properly organized

  • Personal, not a group

Every guest gets only their own gallery. Not one crowded group where everyone hunts for themselves among hundreds of other people's photos.

  • Opens in the browser, no app

The link opens right on the phone. Nothing to download and no sign-up, so older guests open their gallery easily too.

  • Only their photos

The guest opens it and almost immediately sees the moments they appear in, without scrolling through photos of every other guest.

  • Fewer "where are my photos?" messages

When every guest gets a clear link to their gallery, the repeated messages asking when and where the photos will be finally stop.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about WhatsApp delivery

Didn't find your answer? Send us your event type and date, and we'll get back to you with a straight answer.

Is this one WhatsApp group for all the guests?

No. The idea is exactly the opposite: every guest gets a personal link to their own gallery, not a message in a shared group. That way nobody has to hunt for themselves in a sea of other people's photos.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. The link opens in the phone's browser. There is no Matcha app to download and no account or password needed, beyond the WhatsApp the guest already has.

What does the guest actually get?

The guest gets a personal link to their gallery. When they open it they see the photos from the event that they appear in, and at suitable events also access to the shared album of the night.

Does this replace the shared album?

No. The personal gallery sent on WhatsApp works alongside the shared album. The shared album shows the whole atmosphere of the night, and the personal gallery brings each guest their own moments.

What about guests' privacy?

Each personal gallery opens through a private link, and the photos are managed by the event hosts. The full explanation is in the privacy policy, which is the binding document along with the terms of service.
