Technical questions
How is an event album different from a shared Google Drive or Google Photos folder?
The short answer
A shared drive is a folder of files. A dedicated event album is built around the guest: easy access on the phone, organized photos, and sometimes a personal gallery for each guest.
A Drive folder or a general cloud album gives you somewhere to store photos, but it floods guests with files and leaves them to find themselves on their own.
A tool made for events starts from the opposite question: how to give each guest easy access to the photos that are actually relevant to them, with nothing to install and no exhausting search.
